Episode 22
Money Stories Series with Amy Everett Amy Everett is no stranger to the Blue Feathered Stories, she has appeared before in our episode "Blessing Way to Birth" Episode 18. We are excited to have Amy with us again as we uncover our money stories. Amy gets really raw and vulnerable with us as she reflects and remembers watching her Oma (Grand Mother) using rain water to wash dishes and would fill the bathtub to use only that water for the whole week. Religion for her played a huge role learning that martyrdom and suffering was a way to show your devotion to God and with those religious beliefs taught her that " the love of money is the root of all evil". Money was not black or white it was passive aggressive. It was bad if you desired something and if it cost a certain amount it was definitely bad for you. Managing money was not something that was taught and the stress of money has and still follows her in her patterns that are ingrained in her neuropathways. The best is now she is aware of them and making changes and letting go of the old patterns. Entrepreneurship comes with uncertainty and with it she has learned to trust and recognize the blocks that exist in her heart centre. Amy leaves us with these nuggets:
